Geotesta helps developers, builders and homeowners understand ground conditions before they affect project yield, footing costs or construction. From acquisition and planning through to earthworks and lot classification, we provide clear site data to support design, approvals and confident building decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Need help planning residential site work?

Complete the investigation during acquisition or feasibility where possible. Early results can identify filled ground, rock, groundwater or contamination before the development layout and footing strategy are locked.

Yes. Our owned drill rigs and Dynamic Cone Penetrometers allow multiple lots to be investigated efficiently through coordinated mobilisation and reporting programs.

Level 1 includes full-time earthworks supervision, advice, testing and daily reporting. Level 2 provides testing without continuous supervision of the earthworks process.

If land was formerly used for agricultural, industrial or commercial purposes it may require a preliminary site investigation to identify potential contamination risks before residential development, acquisition or planning approval.

Yes. Geotesta can work within the consultant’s scope or be engaged directly by the developer, builder or property owner.
